The music and imagery of Motörhead has inspired a new video game that had the backing of the band’s late frontman/bassist Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister. Titled ‘Motörhead: Through The Ages‘, the game primarily functions as downloadable content for the multi-platform video game, ‘Victor Vran‘. A standalone version of the game also appears to be available on consoles with a digital release now available. Pre-orders for elaborate physical editions can be found here.
Kilmister himself had been involved with the development of the game prior to his death on December 28th, 2015 and had played early builds of what was to come. ‘Motörhead: Through The Ages‘ features over 13 of the band’s tracks, along with reworked music stems, previously unseen artwork from Lemmy and more.
