A report on CNN.com has word that Soundgarden, etc. frontman Chris Cornell will be laid to rest this coming Friday, May 26th. According to the report, Cornell‘s body will be buried at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery in Los Angeles, CA. It also states that the family are still considering the possibility of a public memorial.
Cornell tragically took his own life earlier this week. His widow Vicky feels that an improper dosage of his anxiety medication may have played a role in his thought process. Meanwhile, Soundgarden, etc. drummer Matt Cameron has also spoken regarding Cornell‘s passing, stating via social media:
“My dark knight is gone. Thank you for the incredible outpouring of kindness and love.”
