The Des Moines Register report that an Iowa City resident named Max Ostby recently found a blue cellophane package at the Devonian Fossil Gorge in Coralville, IA that contained among other things, a burnt CD with a single song: “Knights” by Minus The Bear.
Also included was a lengthy note and a painted casting of someone’s foot. The note explained how whoever found the package had now found a “part of” the person who had left the cast, encouraging them to continue the cycle. The band themselves took note, tweeting:
