Suicide Silence were back to their gear destroying ways during their set at the Koko in London, England this past Friday night, March 24th. This time around guitarist Chris Garza also introduced some fire to his repertoire. Previously this month the band attempted to play baseball with some of their gear onstage in Moscow, Russia.

As to why Garza and his bandmates have taken to recreational instrument trashing, the below Instagram post he shared earlier this month might shed some insight:

A trip walking into a record store and buying this. The process of creating the physical foRm of this started before I was even born. If this was our last record, or I died. This is what we would leave behind, and be proud. Theres so much thats going on behind the scenes with metal that we needed to do this. Im not gonna let these Mcdonalds bands we are surrounded by consume me anymore, and destroy my heart. Im going to fight my way out of this just like when Mitch died in front of me, and the industry TRIED to kick me while I was down. Making a piece of plastic to guarantee a certain amount of income isnt music anymore. THAT IS SELLING OUT. Anything less than life or death on record or the stage is not fucking welcomed anymore. Im coming for you. ALL of you. You will be exposed, and destroyed. Meeting everyone that has listened to the record warms my heart that we are not alone. I love you guys with all the life thats in my being.

The show also saw frontman Eddie Hermida get pie’d in honor of his birthday and a speaker cab and broken piece of the drum kit go crowdsurfing, all while Limp Bizkit‘s “Break Stuff” played over the venue’s PA. David Tan shared the following footage of that:
