Of Mice & Men's Austin Carlile Reveals Past Suicide Attempt, Credits God For Keeping Him Strong

Of Mice & Men frontman Austin Carlile has been an open book with fans via social media lately, having given in-depth updates on his current health struggles and more via his Twitter. Last night Carlile, who fully embraced God earlier this year, revealed to a fan that he had previously attempted suicide. His response to the fan can be found below:

Carlile suffers from Marfan Syndrome, a genetic disorder, which affects the connective tissue throughout his body and leaves him with chronic pain. Recent years have seen him undergo multiple surgeries for various complications brought on by the disorder, including multiple spinal tears, plus heart, foot and hip surgeries. Currently he is recovering from the latest round of surgeries, which corrected several spinal tears.
