The first week sales of Upon A Burning Body‘s latest album “Straight From The Barrio” are in and are likely not what the band were hoping for. During its first week of availability, the album sold 3,350 copies—less than half the 6,950 copies its predecessor, 2014’s “The World is My Enemy Now“, moved during its first week. Their latest debut was enough to net them the #8 position on Billboard‘s Hard Rock Albums chart. Frontman Danny Leal appears to have an idea as to why the album didn’t perform as well as their last, tweeting earlier today:
Ppl will buy a $10 cup of coffee but MF’s won’t buy a record. Fuck free downloading.
