Limp Bizkit, etc. guitarist Wes Borland has revealed the ten albums that more or less changed his life in a new feature over at Teamrock.com. There’s some interesting revelations: his favorite album of all time is Pink Floyd‘s “The Dark Side Of The Moon“, Metallica‘s “Kill ‘Em All” was the album that got him into metal—though he’s not a fan of their 1996 album, “Load“, of which he stated:
“I was heartbroken over the ‘Load‘ album. I think it’s a big disappointment for most people. It just was not Metallica any more. ‘The Black Album‘ was commercialised Metallica but it still felt like Metallica. The riffs were still there and they still looked like Metallica and then all of a sudden…”
He also expresses his love for Carcass and Death in the piece, which you can find at Teamrock.com.
