Octavision—the fledgling progressive metal band featuring bass wizard Victor Wooten—have debuted the below video for their first single, “Three Lives“. Band guitarist Hovak Alaverdyan also shared some info on the group:
“My name is Hovak, I am the guitarist, founder and primary composer of Octavision. Octavision is a project that brings together many different influences, elements, and styles of music from around the world into one band. I am extremely honored to be part of a band wherein my bandmates are amongst some of the best musicians in the world. Working with them has been a very rewarding experience. They each bring their own unique individual performance style and virtuosity to the group.”
He further added:
“…For those wondering if this is a one-off project or not, I’d like you to know that this is a real project and there are more songs and releases to follow.”
