Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland has once again vented on his experience on the 2015 ‘ShipRocked‘ cruise, which his band headlined. Speaking recently with EW.com, he and his fiancée/Queen Kwong bandmate Carré Callaway recalled their time on the cruise:
“So what’s the latest update on Limp Bizkit — are there any projects or developments on that front? I know you guys had a cruise last year…
BORLAND: Oh, yeah. The lowest point of my life, the ShipRocked cruise. What a waste of time. Anyway, yeah, that was awesome. We had a terrible time and we made zero money off of that. That was the one with all the MMA jocks and everything?
BORLAND: It was worse than…CALLAWAY: The hallways smelled like vomit.
BORLAND: Yeah, it was like, basically, a bunch of juggalos, I guess.
CALLAWAY: No, they weren’t juggalos, they were a bunch of drunk people.
BORLAND: Just a bunch of drunk people. It was like Mardi Gras but in your house.
CALLAWAY: Yeah. It was like Bourbon Street but you were stuck on a boat with it.
BORLAND: The peak of the whole thing was there was a guy passed out, standing up, snoring in the hallway, somehow. It was Bro-chella. It was the worst.”
The rest of the chat focused on Borland‘s other happenings, which include his and Callaway‘s home renovation show and their efforts rescuing cats in their current hometown of Detroit, MI.
