An instrumental demo of “Reborn” is the latest rarity Stone Sour have shared as part of their tenth anniversary look back at their 2006 album, “Come What(ever) May“. Guitarist Josh Rand said of it:
“I wrote this song on the bus while we were still touring the first album. Then sometime in 2004, I went back to Catamount Recording studios in Iowa (that’s where the 1st Stone Sour album was recorded) to demo this and some of the other tracks I’d written over the course of the year.
There is no demo in existence with Corey‘s vocals because the first time he sang to the song, was during the recording sessions for ‘Come What(ever) May‘.”
Current plans have the band back in the studio early next year for their new album.
