The Word Alive guitarist Zack Hansen suffered a gnarly looking injury during today’s (July 10th) ‘Vans Warped Tour‘ stop in Hartford, CT. It’s not clear how he did it, but he managed to fracture his jaw and suffer a gnarly gash that required 8 stitches to close. He shared the following nasty photo of that:
The band have since confirmed that they don’t expect to miss any dates due to the injury. Given that The Word Alive frontman Telle Smith previously broke his back during a stage dive gone wrong, Hansen got off easy.
