Earlier this month Slipknot/Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor went under the knife for unplanned spinal surgery, having been suffering from essentially breaking his neck awhile back. The injury forced the band to reschedule numerous dates for their upcoming tour with Marilyn Manson and Of Mice & Men. With the revised June 28th kickoff date approaching, Taylor has provided the following update on his condition:
Neck Update: follow-up appt w/ Dr was great! For now, no headbanging, jumping. But I’ll sing my ass off. Back to 90% 4-6 months, 100%/year.
