It’s been quite awhile since there was any activity on the As I Lay Dying social media accounts, but it looks like some housekeeping took place over the weekend with the band updating their Facebook image and the following Father’s Day wish being shared in honor of today (June 19th) being well, Father’s Day. It appears to be an important holiday for whoever is handling the social media accounts for the band, as it’s not the first time they’ve celebrated the day since the outfit fell dormant.
Their dissolution came in the wake of frontman Tim Lambesis being sentenced to six years in prison for attempting to hire a hitman to murder his then estranged ex-wife. Lambesis has/had three adopted children with the woman in question. Given the circumstances, it’s not surprising that the comments shared on the respective posts seem to heavily feature bewilderment and outrage.
