Earlier today (April 08th) Guns N’ Roses frontman Axl Rose confirmed he recently broke his foot. Despite the injury, he plans to play the band’s various upcoming ‘reunion’ shows. A surgical procedure has already been performed with a plate and numerous steel screws inserted into his foot. An video detailing his injury via his orthopedic surgeon has been shared below through Vimeo, which seemingly crashed the entire Vimeo site shortly after.
Rose is in a cast as a result of the injury and unable to put weight upon his foot as it heals. A four-week recovery period is expected before he can begin to regain his proper mobility. As Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl proved last year, you can still play shows without a functional lower extremity and the shows will continue on with a somewhat similar stage setup.
This is what can happen when you do something you haven’t done in nearly over 23 years,”Internal Fixation” (?’`-‘´)? https://t.co/jFTz3MQw82
