Relapse Records will conclude their curation of Death‘s back catalog with a deluxe reissue of the band’s 1987 “Scream Bloody Gore” on May 20th. Alan Douches (Death, Mastodon) has remastered the album from the original recording tapes, while various previously unreleased recordings and rehearsal demos will also be included. New liner notes penned by ex-Death drummer Chris Reifert, Max Cavalera (Soulfly, ex-Sepultura) and “Scream Bloody Gore” producer Randy Burns are also featured amid the expanded packaging.
The revised tracklisting for that three-disc set can be found below. Arriving in conjunction with the reissue is a bobblehead figure of the album’s Ed Repka penned artwork. Produced by Aggronautix. 1,000 hand numbered pieces of the 7″ set are being created. You can find both pre-orders for that and the deluxe edition of the album here.
