Jungle Rot Premiere "Doomsday" Video After Alleging They Were Flagged By The Government For It

The last time Jungle Rot attempted to debut their “Doomsday” music video, they claimed they were prevented from doing so after being “flagged by the government for inciting ‘dissention’.” The band vowed to edit the clip and release it and that debut has now arrived below. Bassist James Genenz says of it:

“To me, the video is essentially about paranoia. The protagonist is more than likely a paranoid conspiracy theorist, who probably isn’t all that wrong with his theories, but is driven mad because of them. The live shots of us playing under targets are like his delusions, envisioning an attack on a small populace of citizens and we are his weapon. Eventually, he cannot handle the prophetic visions and blinds himself to it.”

There was notably no mention of said flagging, so it’s likely to be filed with singer kidnappings and Otep retiring. That said, you’ll soon be able to catch Jungle Rot out on the road with Dying Fetus, The Acacia Strain and more on the ‘Metal Alliance Tour‘.
