The Deftones have officially detailed their new album “Gore“, which will arrive in stores on April 08th through Warner Bros. Records. Producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Hatebreed) oversaw the album alongside the band. Below you can find the track listing and cover art for the release, with pre-orders now available via deftones.com. Those who do pre-order will receive an instant download of the first single “Prayers/Triangles“, which debuted online yesterday.
Among the more notable options of the pre-orders is a limited edition 180 gram vinyl pressing with foil-stamped/numbered jackets. It will be limited to 3,500 copies. Referencing recent tweets made by Kanye West of his own album, Deftones frontman Chino Moreno said of the new effort:
“Out of respect for Pac, Big, Stevie, Michael, Hendrix, Gore is ONE of the greatest albums not the greatest, just one of.”
