Yesterday an article on Electra Mustaine revealed that a pilot had been shot for a potential Mustaine family reality show, documenting their transition from life in Los Angeles, CA to Nashville, TN. This piqued some considerable interest as Electra‘s father is the often outspoken, Megadeth frontman/guitarist Dave Mustaine. Electra said of the potential series:
“Everyone knows the story of Megadeth and who my dad is. That story has already been told. But the one that hasn’t been told is what he’s like with his family, what it’s like for him to move to Nashville. And what it’s like to have him walk into a tractor store and try to fit in. He is funny as heck.”
If it does get picked up, don’t expect an ‘The Osbournes‘ like family focus, as Dave himself has seemingly suggested that it would be centered around his daughter and her burgeoning country career, rather than Dave‘s own exploits:
