Producer Ross Robinson was at the epicenter of the nu metal movement of the late 90’s, producing the first two (and ninth) albums from Korn, Limp Bizkit‘s “Three Dollar Bill, Yall“, Sepultura‘s “Roots“, Machine Head‘s “The Burning Red“, Slipknot‘s first and second albums (excluding “ Mate. Feed. Kill. Repeat.“,) and numerous other releases. Given his hand in helping shape the sound, it would seem bands still trying to emulate it to this day contact him. Going by the tweet he shared below, they likely don’t get very far:
