Eagles Of Death Metal bassist Matt McJunkins (also of Puscifer/A Perfect Circle & The Beta Machine) has commented in part on the terrorist attack that took place during the band’s performance this past Friday, November 13th. As you’ve no doubt heard, a number of armed extremists stormed the Le Bataclan venue in Paris, France during the band’s set and began shooting those in attendance, ultimately killing over 80 concertgoers. McJunkins and the rest of the band were able to flee the venue and escape physically unharmed. In a posting made today, McJunkins offered:

Love you guys! And to everyone who’s reached out and offered help, sent us thoughts, love, and their prayers, I will…

A previous report from McJunkinsPuscifer/A Perfect Circle bandmate Maynard James Keenan (also of Tool,) mentioned that McJunkins was at one point held hostage during the attack. The Eagles Of Death Metal also released a statement on the incident earlier today, which you can read here.
