A report on Torrentfreak.com report that an individual from Pennsylvania was hit with 112 DMCA notices in a period of 48 for download/sharing a torrent of unspecified Dog Fashion Disco material. The lawsuit comes on behalf of the bands label Rotten Records, who employ Rightscorp to enforce their copyright protection. As the user did not comply with the barrage of notices, the company has now filed suit against the unidentified user, seeking that they delete the files in question and pay statutory damages for illegal distribution of each copyrighted work, as well as cover Rotten Records‘ incurred legal fees. Dog Fashion Disco themselves just released a new album titled “Ad Nauseam” last Friday, October 02nd. It’s the second album to arrive thanks to the bands massively successful crowdfunding campaign, which raised $85,122 USD.
