The Associated Press report that a Prague court has dismissed Lamb Of God frontman Randy Blythe‘s requests for compensation in regards to the manslaughter case he was involved in back in 2013. Blythe was initially imprisoned on the charge and later released and returned to face trial. He was eventually acquitted of the charge, which was in relation to the fatal injuries suffered by a stage diving fan at a 2010 show the band played in the city.
Blythe‘s lawyer Michal Sykora was seeking 15.555 million koruna (roughly $640,800 USD) in damages to cover the legal fees, etc. he spent defending himself. According to Sykora, Blythe can appeal. The group have previously stated that the legal expenses nearly bankrupted them at the time.
