Trapt's Lawsuit With Ex-Guitarist Settled, Frontman Chris Brown Explains His Rage Issues

Trapt frontman Chis Brown has posted the following video detailing why he has been so quick to anger as of late. As it turns out, the band have been engaged in a legal battle over royalties, etc. with their former guitarist (reportedly Simon Ormandy.) According to Brown the suit was resolved three months ago. During the course of the video Brown further states:

“I’m an emotional person, I’m imperfect. I definitely like confrontation, I don’t shy from it—shy away from it. And I think that makes me who I am. I think that social media is a tool to show who you really are and not, you know, hide behind this facade. And if you really go out there and say who you are, you’re going to get attacked for it, for sure, you’re gonna get attacked.

But some people will have valid points and some people… you’ll say you can ‘f off’ or whatever and ‘you’re wrong’, you know.”

He later added:

“I will try to watch my language, I’ll try to be more professional. But I really don’t think a rock band needs to be professional. I don’t think we’re sitting in a corporate boardroom, mapping out how we should talk to people on social media. I’m gonna say what I want to say and I’m not gonna apologize for it.”

The bands new album “DNA” is set for a release in the months to come, with some new songs available via the bands Facebook.

Wanted to explain where this rage I’ve had lately comes from. Had a lot to say, so thought I would do so in a video.
