The recording sessions for the new Deftones album appear to have been completed with vocalist/guitarist Chino Moreno having wrapped up the vocals last night. Moreno shared the following post on that via the bands Facebook:
“Finished recording my voice parts for record. -chino”
Primary recording sessions had taken place under producer Matt Hyde (Slayer, Porno For Pyros) earlier in the year, which Moreno having been working on the vocals at his own home studio. A tentative September 25th release date has been revealed for the album, which will feature Alice In Chains guitarist Jerry Cantrell guesting on a track.
