Rise Records has been fully acquired by BMG in a multi-million dollar deal according to Musicbusinessworldwide.com. As is the case with these acquisitions, the front end staff of the label will stay in place, while back office functions will be shifted to BMG‘s own infrastructure. Rise Records president Craig Ericson said of the new arrangement:
“I’m thrilled to work with BMG and I know Rise Records and its bands will benefit greatly from this new partnership.”
Rise Records is the current label home of Of Mice & Men, The Devil Wears Prada and many more.
