Metallica and the San Francisco Giants were hand and hand again last night in San Francisco, CA for the third annual ‘Metallica Day‘ event. James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett played the American national anthem, while Lars Ulrich threw out the first pitch. A special black promotional jersey was also printed up for the event, complete with the below commercial. The game itself was held at AT&T Park and saw the Giants fend off the Los Angeles Angels.
