The first in Stone Sour‘s planned trilogy of covers EP’s, “Meanwhile In Burbank…“, is now streaming online in full below. It finds the band running through tracks from the likes of Black Sabbath, Metallica, Judas Priest, Alice In Chains and Kiss. There’s no release timeframe just yet, but covers of the Bad Brains and Mötley Crüe are in line for the second installment of the series.
Van Halen‘s “Unchained” and tracks from Rage Against The Machine and Violent Femmes are among those in the works for the third release. “Meanwhile In Burbank…” was digitally released yesterday and originally came out as a limited edition vinyl release for this month’s ‘Record Store Day‘ event.
