With thrash metal legends Megadeth currently out on their farewell tour, it seems there’s a chance to Dave Mustaine and co. to potentially cross off another bucket list item. After landing their first #1 album on the Billboard 200 with their self-titled final album this February, at least one WWE star is dreaming of having the band play her to the ring.

Current Women’s World Champion Stephanie Vaquer, who is set to defend her title at this month’s WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, NV, is an avowed metalhead. She recently told Metal Hammer, that her introduction to metal came via Iron Maiden, Slipknot, Drowning Pool, Motörhead, and of course Megadeth.

Vaquer also incorporates elements of her passion for the genre into her personality, stating of metal’s “power, intensity and motivation”:

“That’s what I love most about it, besides the clothing and overall style. I really connect with the metal aesthetic; l’ve always identified with it and felt like I belong in that world. It feels like a part of who I am.”

As for her wish to one day have a metal band play her to the ring, she offered:

“It would be a dream to have Motörhead accompany me, even though I know it’s impossible [Motörhead vocalist/bassist Ian “Lemmy” Kilmister died in 2015, with guitarist Phil Campbell passing away this year] and they already did it with Triple H. It would also be a dream to come out to Megadeth’s ‘Head Crusher‘.”

While that “Endgame” cut is a considerably a modern offering from the storied band’s catalog, Vaquer cites Megadeth‘s fourth studio album, 1990’s platinum-certified “Rust In Peace” as her favorite album of all-time, stating, “it brings back so many memories and every song on it is great.”
