Seven Hours After Violet have been tracking new music at Dave Grohl‘s Studio 606 as of late. While that collective count System Of A Down bassist Shavo Odadjian as their linchpin, there’s even a bit more DNA from the aforementioned Armenian-American nü-metal superstars at play in these new songs.
As Odadjian has pointed out below, the snare being used by drummer Josh Johnson during these new sessions is the same one used by drummer John Dolmayan on System Of A Down‘s 6x platinum album “Toxicity“. Outside of Odadjian, Seven Hours After Violet include members of Winds Of Plague, Left To Suffer and more among their roster.
