The late great Ozzy Osbourne will be honored onstage during this weekend’s ‘MTV VMAs‘ ceremony. A collective consisting of Aerosmith‘s Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, Extreme‘s Nuno Bettencourt, and Yungblud will be uniting onstage for a musical tribute to the heavy metal icon. A medley of Ozzy-related tracks are expected to be performed.
Nearly all of the aforementioned musicians also took part in the July 05th ‘Back To The Beginning‘ concert that served as the final live sendoff for Osbourne and the might Black Sabbath. This year’s ‘MTV VMAs‘ will air this Sunday, September 07th on CBS.
Osbourne passed away from a heart attack on July 22nd.
