Magnetic Eye Records have revealed the first batch of artists set to partake in their upcoming pair of tribute albums to industrial metal trailblazers Nine Inch Nails. The aforementioned label have assembled a lengthy roster of bands to cover Nine Inch Nails‘ 1994 landmark “The Downward Spiral“, as well as a separate compilation focusing on fan favorites taken from throughout the catalog of Trent Reznor and company.
The first participants to be announced include:
Black Tusk – “Mr. Self Destruct”
Daevar – “Closer”
Abrams – “Eraser”
Blue Heron – “Head Like A Hole”
Grayceon – “Right Where It Belongs”
IAH – “A Warm Place”
While crowdfunding for these two compilations began earlier this week via this Kickstarter campaign, production is already underway on the project. All tracks have already been turned in with a November release date being eyed. Look for further artist updates to be shared in the weeks to come.
