Venamoris have issued one last advance single from their forthcoming album, “To Cross Or To Burn“. That duo consists of real-life couple Paula and Dave Lombardo — the latter renowned for his time behind the drum kit with Slayer, Mr. Bungle and countless others.
Arriving online today from the two is the following music video for their song “Truth“. Paula commented of it, “‘Truth‘ is an ode to past mistakes and patterns we repeat until the lessons finally take hold. Pain is a gift, if we allow it to be.”
Dave added, “Simplicity is the approach here. When the lyrics and melody are strong, there is no need for frills. Don’t mask the message.” Paula concluded, “There’s a confidence in this body of work. An overall vibe of heaviness that was unexpected. Verses of hard truths now bound in acceptance. The soul-searching continues.”
“To Cross Or To Burn” will be out February 28th on Ipecac Recordings and features guest spots from members of Exodus, Testament, Korn and more.
