The duo of Paula and Dave Lombardo, better known as Venamoris, have released a new single titled “Spiderweb“. Given his prolific and highly influential contributions to metal, Dave‘s work should be well-known to fans of heavier fare. The acclaimed percussionist has sat behind the kit for Slayer, Mr. Bungle, Testament and many more over the years.
Paula commented on this new offering:
“‘Spiderweb‘ is a cinematic song that serves up the cathartic fantasy of pulling a thread from the sticky, cruel web of a narcissist and using it to choke the sound of their lunacy.”
The couple’s sophomore album is presently in the works for a 2025 release through Ipecac Recordings.
