System Of A Down guitarist/vocalist Daron Malakian has announced a new vinyl release of the 2008 self-titled album from his Scars On Broadway project. Two previously unreleased b-sides in “Stranger” and “War For Religion” will be included on this pressing, along with two previously issued b-sides, “Scars On Broadway” and “Hungry Ghost“. This new pressing will mark the first time all four tracks have arrived on vinyl.
Also featured as part of the pressing is a bonus 7” for the song “Fucking” and another previously unreleased cut, “Shotgun“. These previously unreleased tracks are expected to make their digital debut on leading DSPs this coming Thursday at 09:00pm PST. Pre-orders for the vinyl will launch this Friday, October 04th.
This flurry of activity arrives just ahead of the band’s first live shows since 2019. The outfit will be playing Korn‘s 30th anniversary show at the BMO Stadium in Los Angeles, CA this Saturday, October 05th. Evanescence, Gojira, Spiritbox and Vended will also be on that bill.
Just under a week later they’ll be hitting the stage as part of this year’s ‘Aftershock‘ festival in Sacramento, CA on Friday, October 11th.
