Multi-platinum nü-metal stars Papa Roach have paired up with celebrated country rocker Carrie Underwood for a new rendition of their anti-suicide anthem, “Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)“. Much of Papa Roach‘s charitable efforts of late have been centered around that 2022 track, which the band have put to use raising awareness and funds for suicide prevention. This Friday, August 02nd, will see the debut of this updated version of the track.
Papa Roach vocalist Jacoby Shaddix has also frequently dedicated the original studio version of “Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)” to late Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington at the band’s live performances. Bennington tragically passed away in July of 2017 with his death being ruled a suicide.
