Veteran death metal outfit Dying Fetus made the most of their time playing this year’s ‘FYA Fest‘ this past weekend. The group themselves performing as the penultimate artist to perform on Saturday, January 06th, playing before headliners Trapped Under Ice. That set took place at the Bryan Glazer Family JCC in Tampa, FL and saw the Maryland-based death metal group rip through eight songs, two of which were covers.
Knowing that that they’d be playing for a rowdy audience of hardcore fans, the band came prepared with some special additions to their set. In addition to busting out their cover of Maryland hardcore outfit Next Step Up‘s “Bringing Back The Glory“, Dying Fetus also dusted off their cover of Integrity‘s “Judgment Day“, complete with a guest spot from Colin Young of Twitching Tongues, etc. fame.
