Colorado Springs, CO-based metalcore outfit Mouth For War have given an online premiere to an animated video for their song “Captivated“. The group had animator Torey Kervick and artist Caleb Butcher involved with that clip, with vocalist Trae Roberts commenting:
“‘Captivated‘ is a song with a strange lyrical theme in a style I’ve never really written before, so we knew this would be the perfect track to bring our friends Caleb and Torey in to make a crazy visual for. I wrote this track about a mushroom trip where I felt like for the first time I was visited by my late sister’s spirit, oddly enough through the eyes of my cat, Adelaide. I love how this video came out and we’re so excited to share it with you.”
Mouth For War‘s new album “Bleed Yourself” is set to be released tomorrow, October 27th through MNRK Heavy. Decibel premiered this latest video and are also hosting a new Q&A with Roberts.
