Go Ahead And Die have announced an October 20th release date for their sophomore album “Unhealthy Mechanisms“. Nuclear Blast will be issuing the album from that trio, who consist of vocalist/guitarist Max Cavalera (Soulfly, ex-Sepultura, etc.), his son, vocalist/guitarist/bassist Igor Amadeus Cavalera (Healing Magic), and drummer Johnny Valles.
The song “Tumors” has newly been launched as the first single from that record, with an animated video done by Costin Chioreanu having just been shared online.
Max said of this second outing:
“I’m so excited to release this monster of a record! This album will take you through the darkened madness of declining mental health. It is definitely the heaviest record I’ve ever created, and I can’t wait to unleash it on the masses! G.A.A.D.!”
Igor oversaw the production duties for the record with Josh Aquilino also behind the boards. Arthur Rizk (Soulfly, Turnstile) was once again brought in to mix and master the effort.
