Gorguts To Play First Live Show In Six Years At 2023 'Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Philly'

Canadian technical death metal outfit Gorguts will return to the stage this coming April for their first live show in six years. The quartet have newly been announced for the ‘Decibel Magazine Metal & Beer Fest: Philly‘, for which they have a special set in mind. That performance will find the band solely performing material from their 1991 debut album “Considered Dead” and their 1998 third studio album “Obscura“.

Vocalist/guitarist Luc Lemay commented:

“Dear fans, I just wanna say that we are super stoked to be a part of Decibel’s Metal & Beer Fest! It’s a special moment for the band returning to the stage after a hiatus, so and we decided to craft for you a set of songs that haven’t been performed live in over 25 years.”

The aforementioned festival will take place at The Fillmore in Philadelphia, PA on April 14th-15th and is presently scheduled to featured the following artists and sets:

Friday, April 14th:

Gorguts (performing “Obscura” & “Considered Dead“)

Saturday, April 15th:

Suicidal Tendencies (performing “Suicidal Tendencies” and more)
