The mixing process for Avenged Sevenfold‘s eighth studio album has been completed. Brooks Wackerman, who handles the drums for the multi-platinum alternative metal outfit, took to social media earlier today (September 29th) to share the below photo confirming the conclusion of the sessions.
The record has been in the works for several years now and will feature contributions from a 78-piece orchestra. Per the photo shared by Wackerman, the mix was once again overseen by the legendary Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Faith No More). Exact release plans for this follow-up to 2016’s “The Stage” have yet to be disclosed.
