Puppy have premiered a video for their new song “Black Hole“. The single arrives ahead of the January 25th release date the band have scheduled for their new album “The Goat” via Spinefarm Records. They said of the track:
“We chose ‘Black Hole‘ as the first single from the album because we felt that, both lyrically and musically, it really summed up the vibe of the record — fun and upbeat, but with a dark, sinister element underpinning the whole thing. With the video we wanted to reflect that, and show a bit of what’s gone into making our album.
It’s been nearly two years in the making and in that time we’ve been on a lot of tours and spent a lot of time together in various studios, so we already had a bunch of the footage. What we ended up capturing over that period turned out to be far more sinister and malevolent than we initially imagined, but we feel the album is better for it ultimately, so we wanted to share some of that.”
