As expected, Marilyn Manson did join X Japan onstage last night (April 21st) at the second weekend of the 2018 ‘Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival in Indio Valley, CA. Fan-filmed footage can be found below, with Manson joining the band’s Yoshiki for an acoustic rendition of Manson‘s take on the Eurythmics track, “Sweet Dreams (Are Made Of This)“.
It’s worth mentioning that Manson himself was apparently previously banned from the festival for an unspecified offense, he said of that earlier this week:
I never thought I would play at a festival I was banned from. But… Yoshiki invited me to join the stage with XJAPAN. You don’t want to miss this one
