Former The Used guitarist (and founding member) Quinn Allman has filed suit against his ex-bandmates some two years after being ejected from the group. The Salt Lake Tribute report that Allman is seeking proceeds from past touring, album and merchandise sales prior to his 2015 dismissal.
Additionally he is seeking damages for what he alleges are repeatedly late/irregular royalty checks for his recorded works with the band. He claims the band are paying him erratically to put “financial pressure” on him.
Allman also alleges that the band sent him a termination agreement for his stake in their their corporate entities, The Used, LLC and Burning Touring Inc., upon his dismissal. He however did not sign the agreements after taking issue with their terms. As part of his suit he is now seeking to dissolve The Used, LLC, in addition to the unspecified damages.
The suit was filed this past Monday, November 13th with a court date still pending. For word from his legal representative and more, head to sltrib.com.
