Original Story:
An allegedly heavy handed security staff at Rock City in Nottingham, England led to Neck Deep‘s show being cut short early today, October 09th. The band were two songs in when they are said to have taken issue with security over reportedly slamming a crowd surfer down.
The band are said to have attempted to intervene, which led to security grabbing bassist/backing vocalist Fil Thorpe-Evans, and the rest of the band jumping to his aid. After a tussle and the stage being cleared, the band’s frontman Ben Barlow returned to announce the show was over, saying “security fucked it”
@NeckDeepUK THANKYOU for defending your fans. As to @Rock_City_Notts sort your staff out. The people that are supposed to keep us safe huh? pic.twitter.com/V2FCqLIJf4
