Nine Inch Nails teased a mystery “physical component” to those who ordered select versions of their latest EP, “Not The Actual Events“, back in December. That component has begun arriving in the hands of fans and appears to leave quite a mess in its wake. Reddit has been on the case with a detailed overview of what’s in the package, you can find that here. Thought there’s a number of interesting trinkets inside, what is turning heads is the soot-like substance packaged in with the components leaving the recipients hands and items blackened and soiled—enough so that a disclaimer appears on the actual package warning of such an outcome.
