Tool guitarist Adam Jones has long been a devout fan of the WWE, often a staple at live events when he’s in the area and even going so far as proposing to his girlfriend at a ‘Royal Rumble‘ event. Throughout the years he has struck up a friendship with current WWE World Heavyweight Champion and executive of the company, Triple H. Last night he revealed that their friendship and the wisdom shared has benefited not only him, but also Tool‘s business practices. Jones had the the following to say of their recent meeting at an NXT taping last night (January 27th):
“Tonight’s #NXT tapping was EPIC. Want to thank EVERYONE involved. I’m totally floating above the ground. And here’s the deal – I can’t begin to tell you how much I admire this guy* Very inspiring friend, leader & entertainer (on stage & behind the scenes). Over the years He has shared advice & wisdom that has benefitted our business & made me a better person.
