King 810 have penned a benefit track titled “We Gotta Help Ourselves” which you can now hear below. The song aims to raise awareness about the current water contamination crisis in the band’s hometown of Flint, MI. A special t-shirt has been designed alongside the single, with proceeds to go towards the Flint Child Health & Development Fund. You can find said shirt here, frontman David Gunn said of the matter:
“We chose to work with the Flint Child Health & Development Fund because we believe children are the most important people in the equation. They’re also affected the most by what’s going on. Aside from the urgent need for clean water, it’s important to focus on the long term effects that could come as a result to this exposure, so that’s our main focus here.”
