Suburban Scum‘s busy year came to a screeching halt back in August when the group’s singer Ryan “Karebear” Taylor was involved in the brutal assault of Crosscheck‘s drummer Tom Alderson. At the time members of the band issued a statement on the matter, seemingly distancing themselves from the actions of Taylor, going so far as to not even include his name in the signature. With a new album that was recorded (“Ultimate Annihilation“) and originally readied for an October release scrapped, the group largely fell silent. Last night they broke their silence on their future plans, tweeting:
We are still a band and will continue on in 2016. If you don’t like it, we have to words for ya. Love you.

It is presently unknown if Taylor will be fronting the group upon their return.
