Textures are preparing two new connected albums for a release in the next two years. The first is titled “Phenotype” and has been earmarked for a February 05th, 2016 release through Nuclear Blast. The ambitious album will consist of a 60-minute long song. Around a year later the band intend to drop its companion album “Genotype“, which itself is a 45-minute long concept track. The band explain:
“The root material of which ‘Phenotype‘ consists of is presented in this song, but in a totally different context: Textures go out-of-the-box. More proggy, more atmosphere and lots of extra layers to fill the last gaps left in this extensive double rollercoaster ride.”
