The veil has been lifted on Saint Asonia—who feature Staind guitarist Mike Mushok, ex-Three Days Grace vocalist Adam Gontier, bassist Corey Lowery (ex-Stereomud, etc.) and former Finger Eleven drummer Rich Beddoe. The band have debuted their new single “Better Place” with a digital single now available, while a stream can be found below. Mushok didn’t subscribe to calling the outfit a supergroup, stating:
“Truth is we’re more like refugees that just really hit it off creatively. I was looking for a project to do while Staind is on hiatus and the opportunity to work with Adam on writing and recording new music was something I just couldn’t pass up.”
The band are presently finishing up their debut album with producer Johnny K. (Megadeth, Disturbed) and expect a summer release with touring also being lined up.
